I am a computer graphics researcher and software developer based in London. With a focus on FX simulation of physical phenomena such as liquids and granular materials, I have worked with VFX studios such as ILM and DNEG since 2014. In this work, I have developed a collection of tools for the creation of large-scale visual effects, using industry leading technologies such as OpenVDB and SideFX's Houdini. I am one of the authors of and a continued contributor to OpenVDB AX, a language and tool-set for quickly manipulating VDB data, first open-sourced by DNEG in 2017. In 2019, I received my engineering doctorate from the Centre for Digital Entertainment at Bournemouth University.
